I have a B.A. in Politics from the University of California and am a Gold Certified Engineering Technician from Mira Costa College Technology Career Institute. During my studies I discovered the close interconnectedness of natural and locally grown foods with freedom and well-being. So I began volunteering with local organic farms and reading broadly about anything to do with ecologically conscious cultivation methods.
When I first learned about aquaponics, I was curious about its viability and skeptical of the potential limitations of working without the soil. After conducting extensive research I decided to set up a small experimental system of my own. This initial project's ongoing success has inspired me with a new passion and to expand it into a business.
